Changelog & status
High-level changes to Roy's Tools. This is a human-readable log, not a versioned package changelog.
Service status
Dependency snapshot (APIs, database, optional keys): /ops-status. Process-only ping: /api/health (JSON). A value of ok: true means the app process is running; database may be optional depending on configuration.

Recent notes
- — Dino Run fills the screen while you play. After a crash, Exit returns to this page, and a 3-letter name can be saved to the shared top 10. The on-screen HI score still stays in this browser. M, or the SND button, mutes the tones. Speed steps up a little every 100 points and reaches its top at 600. Birds, an air jump, rolling boulders, cactus smash while crouching after a jump, and swooping birds unlock as the score climbs, with a short note that does not pause the run. Phones hold a DUCK button to crouch. The page shows the total minutes everyone has spent in a run.
- — AI Image Detector reads C2PA and EXIF in the browser, scans for invisible pixel watermarks, and can camera-recapture a file locally (original color/lighting restored, no geometric warp). Click the preview to open full size. Optional Sightengine pixel check when server keys are set and you opt in.
- — Military flight radar falls back to adsb.lol when airplanes.live blocks the military feed; the map uses an OpenFreeMap dark style.
- PDF Sign/Date/Fill (shipped 2026-08-03) and the PDF merge/split/compress toolkit (shipped 2026-05-18) run entirely in the browser (pdf-lib / pdf.js). This note stays undated because it covers two ship dates.
- Password generator shipped 2026-05-18. The calculator hub and local text/QR/WebP tools remain client-side; live flight, weather, DNS, and FX still depend on upstream APIs. This note stays undated because it covers more than one ship date.
- — Trust pages: About, Privacy, Terms, Contact, this changelog, and System status. Footer links and /llms.txt stay aligned with the public catalog.
Direct answer
This changelog is a human-readable log of Roy's Tools, not a versioned package changelog. Dated notes use the git date of that change. Live uptime is on System status, not here.
How to use this page
- Read a dated note. A time element is the commit date of that note. A note that mixes two ship dates stays undated.
- Check whether the app is up. Open /ops-status for dependency probes and /api/health for a process ping.
Sources
- Git history — Dates on this page come from the commits that introduced those notes, not from a guessed calendar.
Limits
- Undated bullets stay undated when one sentence covers more than one ship date.
- This page is not an SLA and does not store historical uptime.
Where is live uptime?
System status (/ops-status) is a snapshot of dependency checks. /api/health is a process-only ping and may report database as unconfigured.
