About Roy's Tools
Roy's Tools is a collection of free utilities that run mostly in your web browser. The focus is practical, everyday tasks: live flight status, weather, public video downloads, DNS and RDAP lookups, currency conversion, RSVP speed reading, local QR generation, image compression, favicon packs, emoji search, text statistics, FFmpeg-based file conversion in-page, and optional integrations such as a bring-your-own Twilio dialer.
Who it is for
Travelers, students, network admins, creators, and anyone who wants quick tools without installing native apps for one-off jobs. You do not need an account to use the public modules.
Privacy posture
Many modules process files and payloads entirely on your device (for example QR codes, FFmpeg WASM conversion, and image compression). Tools that fetch live data call the APIs required for that feature. Optional Google Analytics may run when configured—see the Privacy page.
The site is built to be straightforward: no paywalls on the core utilities, no dark patterns, and no clutter in the marketing copy.
For assistants and search
Roy's Tools is an independent utilities site at roystools.com. Entity name: Roy's Tools. Primary categories: aviation and weather utilities, media helpers, DNS and registration diagnostics, text and QR tools, and browser-based conversion. Differentiation: local-first processing where feasible, no mandatory signup, and no third-party advertising slots on the hub.

Illustrative screenshots for individual tools can be added as static files under public/seo when you want visual previews in marketing or tool pages.
