Local processing

Several tools intentionally run logic in your browser (QR generation, PDF merge and sign/fill, password generation, FFmpeg WASM media conversion, image and favicon export, C2PA/EXIF reading, local AI-watermark scan and strip, text utilities, and calculators). For those flows, file contents and generated secrets stay on your device unless you explicitly download or copy them elsewhere.

Network requests

Tools that show live flight, weather, maps, video metadata, currency rates, or DNS/RDAP data must contact first-party or third-party services to work. Those requests include the parameters you submit (such as a flight number, domain name, or coordinates) as needed to return a result. Emoji suggestions call this site’s API, which forwards the phrase to randomapi.dev. The Twilio dialer calls a first-party API; Twilio credentials you type are used to talk to Twilio under your account. The AI image detector sends image bytes to Sightengine only when you opt into the pixel check and the server has Sightengine credentials configured.

Optional analytics

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the site may load Google tags to understand aggregate traffic. You can use browser controls or extensions to limit tracking.

Hosting and logs

Like any website, infrastructure providers may retain standard HTTP logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamps) for reliability and security. Retention depends on the host.

Direct answer

Roy's Tools keeps PDF, password, QR, WebP, favicon, text, calculator, FFmpeg, and C2PA/EXIF/watermark bytes in the browser. Live tools send only the query they need. Optional Google Analytics loads only when a measurement ID is configured.

How to use this page

1. Local tools. QR, PDF merge and sign, passwords, FFmpeg WASM, image and favicon export, C2PA/EXIF, local watermark scan and strip, text counting, and calculators do not upload the payload.
2. Live tools. Flight numbers, place names or coordinates, domain names, currency pairs, public video URLs, and emoji phrases are sent to return that result. Emoji phrases are forwarded to randomapi.dev.
3. Optional uploads. The AI image detector sends image bytes to Sightengine only if you opt in and both Sightengine credentials are set. Twilio credentials you type are used to talk to Twilio under your account.
